Haitus

Hi,

I know how it goes. You find a little corner of the internet you like and six months later the asshole who runs it stops updating.

I wish I could say that I've got a grip of new content just sitting here ready to blast at you. I don't. That's the good news.

The bad news is that I've been writing everyday, it's just not ready for the world to see. I've stopped fucking around with these short stories (which I was never very good at in the first place) and I'm taking a run at writing my first novel. I wish I could say when I expect it to be done but I can't. Certainly by the first of the year.

Once it's ready for the world, I'm going to be making a few changes around here. First there won't be a 'here' anymore. I'll be relaunching this site under it's own domain (not creativitydies) and publishing through RudiusMedia. I'm an editor there and soon I'll be writing under the Rudius banner as well.

I have a blog over there where I sometimes write about the process of writing a novel as well as anything else that catches my interest. It's much more of a traditional blog than this ever was, but you might find it interesting. Go ahead and add it to your rss feed.

And so, like so many other blogspot accounts have over the years, this one dies with barely a whimper. From it will rise something much better however.

I can honestly say that what I'm working on is the best thing I've written. Just in terms of the amount of work I've put in to it. A lot of the stuff on this site is first and second drafts. For the first time I'm going to have something that's really polished.

Since I've already gone through your stories and now you're busy with the novel; do you know where to find good amateur writing online?

Also, did Rudius completely remove the submitted stories page or did they just move it to some place I can't find?

Hey Jimi,

The submitted stories board was renamed to the Writing Forum. Here's the link.
